FR Dennis Albert Belliveau

BELLIVEAU, DENNIS ALBERT, of Lincoln, NB went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ after a long and courageous battle with cancer on January 24, 2010. Den was born in Yarmouth, NS on September 4, 1948. He was the son of Angela Belliveau and the late Gerald Belliveau and the loving husband of Cheryl Belliveau. Den was so caring and thoughtful. He was a wonderful man. He enjoyed playing his guitar in church, golfing and helping people. He loved to make people laugh and we will miss his jokes. He was a firefighter for the Base Gagetown Fire Department until 1991, when he suffered a stroke. On November 17, 2007 Den was inducted into the Oromocto & Area Sports Wall of Fame, along with his teammates of the Oromocto Bombers. In addition to his mother Angela, Den is survived by his loving wife Cheryl, brothers Russell and Roger (Judy), sisters Peggy Powell and Terry (Phillip) Duplissea, daughter Tanya (Malcom) LaPointe and son Scott (Anita). He will be missed by his grandchildren Austin, Gabby, Lochland and Brooklyn as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Gerald, Den is predeceased by his first wife Carol. Oh, how we will miss him. The family will receive visitors at the Oromocto Funeral Home 108 Winnebago Street on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Lincoln Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harold Sparkes officiating.
