The photo is of the Canadian
Forces Fire Academy staff on the day that the Academy was formed
"September 1st, 1985" at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario,
Canada. The formation of an Academy was a major step forward for the
fire service and Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II approved and
signed the Academy's official crest in 1998. CFFA's motto "IGNI
OBSTARE" is displayed on the bottom of their crest which translates
as "Standing Against Fire"
